Welcome to Platonic Connections: Connecting Souls. I’m Cecil Marcano—I’m the creator and founder. I started this because I think a lot of us are craving the same thing: real connection. Not just scrolling, liking, and small talk, but conversations that feel genuine, a little deeper, and honestly, more human.
Two things helped shape the idea for this space: Plato’s Symposium and Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince. In the Symposium, we hear different views on love, and through Socrates we’re nudged toward something bigger than appearances—beyond beauty, sex, money, and material stuff. And in The Little Prince, there’s that line I keep coming back to: “what is essential is invisible to the eye.” That’s what we’re doing here—slowing down, listening, and not only building friendships but connecting souls.
